From time to time, Nocturne Teas hosts special events that involve significantly higher production costs—such as large-scale performances, themed nights, or raves. To help offset these expenses, a temporary cover charge may be applied at the door. This fee helps us pay our performers and security team, ensuring we can continue to bring high-quality shows and maintain a safe environment for everyone in attendance.
We do not charge a cover fee for most events, and we only do so when absolutely necessary to make the experience possible. Guests already inside before the start of a cover-charge event are generally exempt, and those placing to-go orders are not subject to the fee, though staff may provide guidance or escort you during ordering to ensure a smooth process.
Details about cover charges are typically shared in our event announcements and social media posts so guests can plan accordingly.

We offer deals and specials throughout the week, and have a loyalty program. You can read more on our Daily Specials and Rewards page.
Botanical Tea FAQs
-
Our botanical teas are brewed from the leaves of Mitragyna speciosa, a tree found in Southeast Asia.
-
In our café setting, we use the term botanical tea to describe certain mitragyna leaf-based tea preparations. We find that this language better reflects the way these beverages are traditionally brewed and enjoyed — as part of a tea-drinking experience — rather than as a supplement or medicinal product.
The term also helps distinguish our house-prepared drinks from retail products or clinical terminology. Regardless of wording, we aim to be transparent with guests and are always happy to answer questions about ingredients or preparation.
-
No. We don’t claim botanical teas or other mitragyna derivatives, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. For medical questions, speak with your clinician.
-
We offer clearly labeled teas, shots, extracts, and canned beverages. View our menu or ask our staff what’s available today.
-
We ONLY provide botanical teas and mitragyna derived products to individuals 21+ and only with valid government-issued photo ID. We card strictly and will not serve botanical teas to anyone under the age of 21. If you are discovered to be using false identification, or that someone of-age is providing someone underage with our botanical products all associated individuals will be removed from the premise, and law enforcement will be contacted.
Do not test this policy, we take the laws and regulations very seriously and violators of this policy and the law will not be permitted at Nocturne Teas.
-
Botanical teas and mitragyna products and derivatives can cause adverse effects for some people and may interact with medications or other substances. Never mix with alcohol or sedatives.
